KATHY THOMPSON, ATC
Kathy received her undergraduate degree from Truman State University and her master’s degree from the University of Nebraska. Before arriving in Seattle she spent eight years as an assistant athletic trainer and instructor in the department of kinesiology at the University of Illinois. She also spent three years as the director of sports medicine and high school outreach at the Northeast Regional Health System and one year at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Kathy is a diehard St. Louis Cardinal and NY Giants fan. During her free time she enjoys reading, art, calligraphy, animals, computers, music (listening and playing), movies, lifting weights and working out, learning to fly. She is originally from St. Louis Missouri and is married to Clint (also an ATC).

Kathy
Thompson was hired as a staff athletic trainer at Washington
in 2001. Her primary duties include coverage for the
gymnastics team, and the men’s tennis and cross country teams.
